A Little About Ms. Dallmann
Welcome to Kindergarten and Ferndale Lower Elementary! This is my eleventh year in Ferndale Schools and my 16th year teaching. I taught pre-kindergarten in DeWitt as well. I have two degrees, BS 2000 (Family Community Services specializing in Early Childhood Education and Programs & Organizations) and MA 2002 (Child Development) from Michigan State so I bleed green. GO STATE!!! I also hold a Master's Degree from University of Phoenix in Elementary Education and my Reading Specialist Endorsement from Oakland University. I am honored to serve as the Instructional Lead Teacher for the amazing Kindergarten team at Lower Campus and am involved in the Ferndale Education Association as the Vice President and the Sick Bank Chairperson. I love working with Blessings in a Backpack. I was born and raised in Troy, but lived in the Lansing area for 13 years. I moved back to Troy to take the job in Ferndale and have a turtle named Buster. I also teach college classes at night for the University of Phoenix. What free time I have is spent with the best six kids in the world- my nieces and nephews :)
I look forward to working with you as a partner in your child's education this year. Through volunteering in our classroom, homefun projects, field trips and class parties we will work together and watch your child grow and develop over their kindergarten year. I hope you get involved in the PTA, Green School, or Elementary Connection groups. Please do not hesitate to contact me or Mrs. Keefe, our principal, if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to touch base about your child.
